Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı, co-founder of ANKUDA, recently conducted a series of significant meetings in Berlin, engaging with key figures in politics, academia, and business.
One of the most important meetings was with Ralf Welt, Chairman of Berlin Global Advisors, and Prof. Eberhard Sandschneider. Bağcı also met with Member of the Bundestag Norbert Röttgen to discuss Turkish-German relations and future political scenarios in light of the upcoming government.
During his visit, Bağcı held discussions with German businessman Dr. Jens Hanke on energy-related matters, focusing on Germany's economic developments and ongoing energy challenges. Additionally, he met with Stefan Mair, President of the Stiftung für Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) Institute, to discuss Germany's new government, bilateral relations, U.S.-EU relations concerning Syria, and Germany's migration policies.
As part of his diplomatic engagements, Bağcı visited former Turkish Ambassador to Berlin, Başar Şen, to extend his best wishes for Şen’s new assignment.
Bağcı also attended an award ceremony honoring Richard Morningstar, renowned as the diplomatic architect of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
Further strengthening institutional ties, he met with Dr. Thomas Volk at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation to exchange ideas on potential joint projects. Additionally, he held discussions with his longtime associate, Dr. Oliver Ernst, at the foundation regarding collaborative initiatives between ANKUDA and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS).
